This exciting downtown gallery, operated by Abilene Christian University, is home to a wide variety of exhibits and events, including the performing arts and musical events. Programs include a “Second Sunday” lecture series.
The Gallery features student and faculty shows, intercollegiate competitions, art workshops and lectures, and exhibits by nationally renowned guest artists.
The Cockerell Galleries is also home to many of Abilene’s most promising artists and photographers. Their second floor studios are open various hours or can be toured by contacting Carolyn Cockerell, 325.829.7975.
