Overview
In 2009 Teresa was nominated by the Western Music Association and was in the Top 10 for Female Poet of the Year and her CD, The Cowgirl Way was nominated and in the Top 10 for Poetry CD of the Year. Then in 2010 the Academy of Western Artists named her the Cowgirl Poet of the Year. This Texas native has empathy for the agricultural industries and the people who make their lives in it. Her material reflects a desire to preserve her heritage and to share a female’s perspective on living the cowboy way.
