Teens and adults are invited out for a weekend movie showing adapted from popular books and series available at your library.

Join us for the next Book to Movie Saturdays session where we’ll feature popular movies based on popular literature. Bring your drinks and snacks out to enjoy a free afternoon showing of 2016’s “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children“ written by Ransom Riggs and starring Eva Green and Asa Butterfield. In this film, when Jacob discovers clues to a mystery that stretches across time, he finds Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the danger deepens after he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers. This film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of fantasy action/violence and peril and has a run time of 2 hours and 7 minutes.
