Overview

Visit the Seed Library at your library where we'll supply you with Shire-approved seeds to plant for your own gardens.

A hobbit with a garden is a happy hobbit. To experience the same contentment, join us during Tolkien Week in the Main Library where we’ll engage in a fun workshop in conjunction with our Seed Library. Teens and adults are welcome to come out as we get hands-on with planting Shire-approved seeds in seedling soil (while supplies last). Don’t be late coming out to this program and come grow a little Shire of your own with your library!
