Overview
Music festival to raise money to help graduating seniors with scholarships to further their education. This event is brought to you by the Robert Macario Ybarra Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Robert was a 2020 graduate of Hawley High School, he unfortunately passed in a car accident on July 4, 2021. The family has created this foundation to honor his memory and help future students with college tuition. We award (3)$2000 scholarships each year to students of the Big Country. Seniors can apply for this scholarship at Community Foundation of Abilene website. Our goals is to give more scholarships each year. This is our 3rd annual festival and with the last 2 we were able to award $14,000.
