Just a few reminders before you fill out the form below.

  1. We do not accept events that are closed to the general public as in "members only"; regular monthly meetings of any group; garage or estate sales, going out-of-business sales or sidewalk sales.
  2. Before submitting an event, please check to make sure it isn't already on the calendar.
  3. If submitting an event poster, please follow the technical specifications at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, please email info@abilenevisitors.com.

Event Calendar Images

To include an image with your event listing on our website, please ensure that your image fits the requirements below.

Format: JPEG or PNG
Dimensions: 550px wide x 412px high
File Size: Less than 2 MB

Digital Poster Images

The Convention and Visitors Bureau also has monitors that run both horizontally and vertically. If you'd like for your poster to run on these monitors, please provide a horizontal and vertical JPEG or PDF. Please ensure that your poster fits the requirements below.

Format: JPEG or PDF
Horizontal Size: Width - 17 inches, Height - 10 inches
Vertical Size: Width - 10 inches, Height - 17 inches
Pixels Per Inch: 200 to 300
File Size: Less than 10 MB
Information: Make sure your event poster covers the basics of who, what, when, where and why.
