Overview
TCT Grind is a HYROX-style fundraising fitness event benefitting We Love Abilene, a ministry of The Well church.
GRIND combines running and functional movements to test a participant's strength, endurance, and speed. The event is structured with eight standardized workout stations, interspersed with running in intervals. Participants complete the following:
Running
Each of these 8 functional workout stations:
-Skiing
-Plate Lunges
-Burpee Broad Jump
-Biking
-Farmer's Carry
-Box Jump/Step Overs
-Rowing
-Wall Balls
After completing the station, participants run again, repeating the circuit until all 8 stations and running distances are completed.
GRIND is designed for people of all fitness levels, with categories for men and women, and also doubles. The race measures both aerobic capacity and muscle endurance.
