ABILENE, TX - NOVEMBER 1, 2019: Mark Powell’s Annual Outlaws & Legends Music Fest will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on March 20th and 21st of 2020 at his Back Porch of Texas. The festival known as “The Biggest 1-Stage Event in Texas” benefits the Ben Richey Boys Ranch and Family Program, and has hit capacity with an averaged 13,300 patrons per day over the previous two years. This year, Outlaws & Legends Music Fest is projected to sell out months before the festival, at an increased 14,500 total patrons per day.

This awarded music festival has hosted country music enthusiasts from 50 states and 13 countries, with a vast range of patron age demographics. Since 2011, the festival has grown in large strides and structurally expanded for various festival experiences to now include: 450 RV Spots, 42 Tailgate Spots, 8 VIP Patio Sections, 6 VIP Suite Balconies, 4 VIP Skyboxes, 3 Enclosed VIP Suites, a 4-Story Tepee, 10,000 sq. ft. Dance Floor, and general seating for over 13,000.

“Advanced General” Tickets are ON SALE UNTIL DECEMBER 1, 2019 for only $54 (plus tax) for the weekend. Pricing for Advanced Tickets will increase after December 1st to $65. Tailgates, Music Row Packages, 1st Row RV Spots, VIP Skyboxes, and VIP Patio Spots are already sold out. Individual VIP tickets ($420), select VIP packages, and RV Spots are currently available. However, 4,200 tickets are already accounted for, so patrons are advised to purchase ASAP for 2020.

Since 2013, 25%+ of all ticket proceeds goes to Ben Richey Boys Ranch. Since 2011, Backporch Productions has generated more than $1,600,000 for Abilene Non-profits, $1.3Million for Ben Richey Boys Ranch, with $400,000 nonprofit funds raised solely through Outlaws & Legends Music Festival.

ARTISTS

Backporch Productions is excited to announce a colossal lineup this year, with many award-winning country music artists. Headlining this 10th Anniversary is the ultimate “Outlaw”, “Legend”, and prolific country music icon, Willie Nelson. This Country Music Hall of Famer’s storied career has amassed 13 Grammy Awards, 10 Country Music Association Awards, The CMA Lifetime Achievement Award, 14 #1 Hits, 7 American Music Awards, and was the 1998 Kennedy Honors recipient.

Country music stars alongside Willie Nelson and host Mark Powell include: Randy Houser, Kevin Fowler, Deana Carter, Radney Foster, Charley Crockett, The Great Divide, Cooder Graw, Mike & The Moonpies, Jamie Richards, Curtis Grimes, The Hamiltons, and Jerrod Medulla- all with awards and accolades in the Country, Texas/Red Dirt and Americana Music Industries.
