Western Heritage Classic
In 1985, local cowboys formed teams for ranch activities, introducing a scoring system to determine the best working ranch. This event drew crowds and supported a local charity. Featuring bronc riding, cow milking, and more, it has maintained the same format. Over time, it grew into the internationally recognized Western Heritage Classic in Abilene, Texas, celebrated for its Ranch Rodeo and diverse activities like the Bit & Spur Show, Chuckwagon Cookoff, and Western Parade, all honoring cowboy heritage and interests.
